Doing an 8.8 swap has never been easier! With this complete weld on bracket kit, you will have everything you need to set up your Ford 8.8 as though it were a factory option on your XJ! This is an upgrade you can't afford to pass up. You can find a used 8.8 at your local salvage yard for cheap and there are tons of aftermarket parts available to upgrade it even more. You can even find 8.8's with disc brakes as an additional upgrade if you have drums! For anyone looking for a stout rear end to replace their weak Dana 35 or Chrysler 8.25, this should be your first choice!

We made many improvements over the factory XJ brackets that make this kit a "no brainer" upgrade.
  • Product Features 1/4" CNC laser cut and brake bent parts
  • Over axle truss
  • Three separate leaf spring center pin holes on the perches so you can position the axle where you want in the wheel opening.
  • Heavy duty 3/8" thick spring u-bolt plates hold the leaf springs in place.
  • Extremely strong 9/16" u-bolts.
  • Super single shear shock mounts. These are super high clearance and may require different shocks to be in the ideal travel range.
  • Gives approximately 1/2"- 3/4" lift over stock (including the 8.8 tube diameter)
  • All required hardware is included

NOTE: Welding is required for installation of this kit. This truss is not designed to be used as a 4 link truss.
