Does your XJ Cherokee have a 4 cylinder engine and manual transmission with a single bolt transmission mount and you want to run the Rock-Link?  Then you need this adapter!  The 4 cylinder with manual transmission is a much shorter assembly than the more common inline 6 cylinder which placed the crossmember further forward on the uniframe.  This adapter will allow you to install the IRO Rock-Link crossmember as required and still be able to bolt up to the transmission mount. *Please be sure to double check your transmission mount to determine if this is the correct stlye adapter.
